Overview
Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections. Accurately deliver concrete in accordance with dispatch instructions and job requirements. Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel. Support a strong safety culture by following all company and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites
Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections
Accurately deliver concrete in accordance with dispatch instructions and job requirements
Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel
Support a strong safety culture by following all company and regulatory guidelines
What Are We Looking For
Valid Class B or A CDL.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment
Strong attention to safety, quality, and customer service
Ability to follow directions, schedules, and standard operating procedures
Capability to perform physical tasks associated with concrete delivery
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
