Kubernetes Administrator

We are seeking a motivated entry level Kubernetes Administrator to support the management and growth of our container platform. In this role, you will work with Kubernetes objects, CI/CD pipelines and artifacts, containerized workloads, and related technologies with the goal to deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain stable environments. You will collaborate with a small agile team to support critical systems in an on-prem & air-gapped control network.

The ideal candidate has some prior hands-on experience (academic, lab, or professional) with Kubernetes, containers, and open-source tech stacks.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate:

Degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or related field

Basic knowledge of Linux

Basic knowledge of containers and container orchestration

Basic knowledge of infrastructure concepts such as routing, authN & authZ, etc

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferences:
1+ hands on experience in:

RKE2 or other container orchestration platforms

GitOps, ArgoCD, and Helm charts or other CI/CD pipelines

Basic knowledge of python, go, and java (spring boot)

Basic knowledge of popular tech stacks such as:

EFK monitoring

Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager

Saml & Zitadel authentication or other OIDCs
