Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract - RRT (754) - 6:30P-7A HCA Florida Brandon Hospital Brandon, FL 33511 Unit Information: (Respiratory Therapy-NICU/754) Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 36 Bed Level 3 NICU Number of Staff – Type of staff: Day Shift – 2 Respiratory Therapists Night Shift – 2 Respiratory Therapists Patient Ratios – NICU is generally staffed with 2 therapists to cover the 36 bed unit during peak volumes. Type of equipment - Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide and Vapotherms EMR – Meditech and NeoNotes Must have : Level 3 NICU experience -would consider someone with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience NRP certification Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
