What you will be doing
You’ll be responsible for the management of career counseling, which includes counseling, mental health support, student assessment, career preparation, and other counseling programs, in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential Functions
Develop departmental budget; monitor and control expenditures, and review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
Develop and implement new and revised policies and procedures affecting the directorate and subordinate departments; coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with overall center objectives.
Regularly assess and audit directorate for contractual compliance and quality of services to students; prepare audit and assessment reports.
Conduct audits and assessments regularly; prepare related reports; maintain a comprehensive center self-assessment system for areas of responsibility.
Assist center director in planning, coordinating and directing the administrative and programmatic activities of the center; serve as acting center director in the director's absence.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, including 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction
Two (2) years of experience in counseling or related field required, and working with youth adults. Supervisory experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
