Food Service Technician - NOW HIRING
The Food Service Technician supports dietary operations by assisting with meal preparation, tray assembly, delivery, sanitation, and customer service. This role is essential in ensuring patients, staff, and visitors receive safe, nutritious, and timely meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble and distribute patient meal trays according to diet orders and meal tickets
Deliver and retrieve meal trays in a timely and courteous manner
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as portioning, plating, and stocking
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, tray line, dining areas, and equipment
Wash dishes, utensils, carts, and kitchen equipment following sanitation procedures
Follow food safety, infection control, and HACCP guidelines at all times
Accurately label, store, and rotate food itemsRespond to patient requests and concerns in a professional, service-oriented manner
Assist with restocking supplies and reporting shortages to leadership
Perform other dietary and food service duties as assigned

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
