
Project Manager - Electrical

Role: Electrical Project Manager to support a major construction development on the West of Riyadh. This position requires strong design management capability, technical leadership, and hands-on site management experience, particularly within large, complex GCC projects.
Responsibilities
Act as the Client's Electrical Project Manager, representing the Developer throughout construction, commissioning, and handover.
Prepare dashboards, technical reports, and executive updates for senior leadership.
Lead electrical planning and scheduling activities in alignment with the master program.
Review and approve all electrical system designs, including power distribution, ELV/ICT, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and specialty electrical packages.
Ensure designs meet operational performance requirements, sustainability targets, and long-term maintainability.
Provide technical input during tendering, including evaluation of electrical contractors and preparation of recommendation reports.
Support the contracting strategy for major electrical packages.
Monitor site installation works, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, architectural, and specialist systems teams to ensure seamless integration.
Identify electrical risks that could impact cost, schedule, or safety, and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and performance verification of all electrical and ELV systems.
Ensure complete electrical handover, including O&M manuals, as-builts, warranties, and training for operations teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical project management within major construction or infrastructure projects
Strong background in electrical design management and multidisciplinary coordination
Proven experience delivering large-scale projects in the GCC (KSA preferred)
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
