Psychiatrist - Adult Outpatient (In-person) - Fargo, ND

Availability & Schedule

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Hours: Part-time or full-time
• Evenings/Weekends: None
• Practice Setting: Primarily outpatient; rotating inpatient/ED consults possible

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Preferred:
  • ABPP certification
  • Child/adolescent psychiatry certification
• Other: Successful completion of credentialing process prior to practice

Practice Specifics

• Join a professional, patient-centered, and compassionate Behavioral Health team
• Team includes: physicians, psychologists, NPs, clinical social workers, psychiatric PAs, nurses, and support staff
• Focus on integrated mental health services across general health settings
• Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting psychiatric evaluations and health screenings
  • Prescribing, managing, and monitoring psychopharmacologic medications
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and referring when needed
  • Managing patients with complex medical and mental health comorbidities
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
