Program Manager – Devereux (Cedarville, NJ)
Devereux is a nonprofit organization providing behavioral health services. The Program Manager oversees a group home and works directly with the Program Director.
Salary
$58,000 – $68,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each resident.
Ensure internal and external facilities maintain a professional image for the community.
Manage all staff for one or more programs, including hiring, performance management, payroll accuracy, attendance, and training compliance.
Guarantee adequate shift coverage for each program.
Supervise the planning, implementation and documentation of programs that meet social, emotional, physical and personal needs of residents.
Plan and participate in group outings for residents.
Manage shopping for household necessities such as food, clothing and supplies.
Schedule and transport residents to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips and day programs or schools.
Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Valid non‑provisional driver’s license.
Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
One year of supervisory experience in a child or adult behavioral health agency.
Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
