Join my client's dynamic team as an Electrical Superintendent, where you will lead and inspire industrial project teams to achieve excellence. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional who can ensure the seamless execution of construction operations, prioritizing safety, timeliness, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Drive on-site activities with precision, ensuring compliance with project plans. Collaborate with regional managers and engineers to maintain robust project timelines.
  • Team Management: Empower a team of over 30 union electricians, fostering a culture of development and performance enhancement.
  • Safety Assurance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct meetings, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and LOTO standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards, routinely inspect work, tackle construction challenges, and manage cable schedules.
  • Resource Management: Strategically procure and utilize construction materials and equipment.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, interpret financial reports, and leverage Excel to meet financial objectives.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing updates and swiftly addressing concerns.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records, produce reports, and ensure comprehensive project documentation.
  • Project Estimation: Collaborate with estimators for accurate cost assessments and precise pricing.
Qualifications:
  • 46 years of experience in industrial construction as an electrical project manager or superintendent.
  • Proven ability to manage a team of over 30 union electricians and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for budgeting and documentation.
  • Experience with construction turnovers, cable schedules, and quality control procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO programs, and modern construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
