Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Title: Nurse Practitioner Float (Primary Care / Retail Clinic) – Ballwin, MO Location: Ballwin, MO 63011 (On-site / patient-facing) Pay: $74.87/hr Job Type: Contract-to-hire (initial contract; conversion potential based on performance/business need) Position Overview A-Line Staffing is hiring a Nurse Practitioner Float to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a busy, patient-facing retail/clinic setting. This role supports a dedicated clinical care team, delivers high-quality outcomes, and includes both clinical and light administrative responsibilities. Schedule Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM Sat: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Sun: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM Every other weekend required (possible holiday rotations) Training: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week for 3 weeks (mandatory) Key Responsibilities Provide primary/family care: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management Counsel patients on health/wellness and support disposition planning Conduct routine exams and diagnostic testing as needed Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals Perform clinic admin duties: opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up Verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain a clean clinical environment Support chronic condition management, screenings, and wellness services Requirements Master’s Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program Current National Board Certification Active NP license in good standing (Missouri) 1+ year recent Primary Care experience as an NP (family medicine/primary care/urgent care) Current BLS (AHA or ARC) — proof required upon offer Must live in Missouri Verifiable High School Diploma/GED Ability to work every other weekend Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Benefits (Eligibility-Based) Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days 401(k) with company match available after 1 year (on eligibility dates) Required Questions (Include with Application) Please answer the following when you apply: Do you hold an active NP license in good standing in Missouri?
