Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current NYS RN License
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.

About the Role: United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Telemetry Staff Registered Nurse, to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. We look for critical thinkers who are able to work with a team of doctors at any given time. Medical Surgical is a fast‐paced environment with ever changing needs. Our diverse team of nurses provide a supportive, and collaborative environment.
Schedule: 12‐hour shifts; 7AM‐7PM or 7PM‐7AM days and nights, every 3rd weekend
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitoring vital signs and responding when necessary

Patient assessment and examination

Administering medications and interventions provided by Physician

Monitoring patient progress and condition
Qualifications:
A valid RN license

1‐year bedside nursing experience

ACLS preferred
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Previous experience in med surg preferred
