Preschool Teacher – Plainville Community Schools (Job ID: 2900)
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individual education programs (IEPs) for students in an inclusive classroom.
Assess and promote student growth across all developmental domains using developmentally appropriate early childhood practices.
Build nurturing relationships with students, families, and fellow educators.
Collaborate with team members to meet the needs of all students.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree along with Connecticut certification in Integrated Early Childhood/Special Education (#112) or Integrated Early Childhood/Elementary Ed. N-3/Special Education (#113).
Students currently enrolled in a formal college program to acquire #112 or #113 Certification will also be considered.
Preferred experience teaching in a fully integrated preschool program.
