AquaTech Swim – Concord Campus

is hiring Children’s Swim Instructors to join our team. This is a rewarding, hands‑on role where you help children build life‑saving skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the water—all in a supportive, fun, and professional environment. No prior teaching experience required. We provide fully paid, hands‑on training to set you up for success.

Employment Options
Year‑Round Positions (Primary Hiring Need)
We are actively hiring for stable, year‑round employment in the following shifts:

Weekdays:

2:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Minimum availability:

3 shifts per week

Weekend availability required:

At least one weekend day

Summer‑Only Positions (May–September)
We are also accepting applications for summer‑only instructors with availability during:

Training is conducted at our Alameda Campus and is fully paid.

What You’ll Do
This role includes two integrated responsibilities that support swimmer success and safety.

In‑Pool Swim Instruction

Teach children of all skill levels using the AquaTech Teaching Curriculum

Lead small, structured group lessons that are engaging, safe, and fun

Support swimmer progression through consistent instruction and attendance

Communicate swimmer progress, goals, and next steps with supervisors and families

Create a positive, encouraging learning environment where kids build confidence

Pool Deck Safety & Support

Monitor lessons to ensure safety standards and teaching protocols are followed

Assist with equipment setup, transitions, and pool entry/exit flow

Observe swimmer progress and document when required

Help maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for students, families, and staff

What We’re Looking For

18 years or older with a high school diploma

Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance

Comfortable working in the water or willing to learn (training provided)

CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification

Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude

Experience with swimming, coaching, teaching, childcare, or youth programs is a plus—but not required

Enthusiastic about helping children grow, learn, and succeed

Physical & Work Environment Expectations

Ability to work in a warm, humid indoor pool environment

Ability to lift and support children (typically 20–50 lbs)

Standing, walking, bending, and quick response on wet pool decks

Comfort with noise, movement, and active transitions throughout the shift
