Functions

The Noon Hour Supervisor’s duties and responsibilities are to assist the building principal with the conduct of the breakfast and lunch time feeding of students, including (but not limited to):

Ensuring the students are taking compliant breakfast and lunch options at the POS and encouraging students to make healthy choices.

Helping the principal collect lunch money from students for milk only sales.

Supervising students in the lunchroom and on the playground.

Assisting students with the opening of milk and other food packaging as needed.

Washing and sanitizing tables per Health Department guidelines.

Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner commensurate with his/her position, projecting a good public image of the School District in dealing with the community and employee groups.

Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 pounds when assisting students, if needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to relate to people

Personable

Experience in working with children and adults is desirable but not necessary

Must be able to pass a qualifying physical examination
