The Quality Team plays a critical role within our matrix organization, ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards in the plant-based protein industry. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team at the Columbia, Missouri location as a Quality Assurance Technician.The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that all products manufactured meet regulatory requirements, customer specifications, company quality and food safety standards. This position is responsible for monitoring production processes, completing required documentation, conducting inspections, testing, and supporting compliance with food safety and quality programs. The QA Technician actively enforces regulatory standards and serves as a champion of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout the facility.**TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES** Enforce compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer standards Perform other duties as assigned **Supervisory Duties** **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:** Minimum HS or GED education
2 to 3 years of experience in a food and/or beverage manufacturing environment preferred
experience **Other qualifications:** Strong mathematical skills Strong problem solving and project management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; self-motivated and highly organized Position requires the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, step, balance, crouch, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, must be able to lift minimal 50 lbs. consistently, reach above shoulders, or as needed to complete tasks. Must be able to occasionally climb stairs or a ladder to complete tasks. \*\*Hourly rate commensurate with experience\*\*
The starting hourly base pay for this role is between USD $21.00 and $27.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
