COMSEC Account Manager Course (NSA or Service) ORKey Management Infrastructure Management Client (MGC) training (NSA or Service)

Experience on one or all HAIPE management platforms; GEM-ONE, VINES or Chimera
Current CompTIA Security+ ce Certificate

At least six years experience as a Primary or Alternate KMI Operating Account Manager (KOAM)
Peraton requires Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position islocatedat MacDill AFB in Florida.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract(SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provideUSSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain NetworkOperations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user andcommon device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conducttraining, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The COMSEC Custodian must have solid technical skills and experience for the receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting for, and, when necessary, the destruction of COMSEC material. The Custodian is responsible for the maintenance of up-to-date records and the submission of required accounting reports. This position will serve as an alternate COMSEC Custodian assisting the Government COMSEC Custodian and providing continuity of operations in the Government COMSEC Custodian absence. The COMSEC Custodian shall provide a full spectrum of network infrastructure management services including implementation, technology integration, guidance for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and assisting the Government to develop and document network infrastructure policies and procedures.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manages COMSEC material IAW NSA policies, doctrine, Committee on National Security Systems Instructions and local policy.
Oversees the receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting for and destruction of COMSEC material.
Uses Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Management Client (MGC) to account for physical and electronic COMSEC Material.
Operates KMI intermediary applications including, but not limited to, i-App.
Trains supported Local Element users and documents training.
Performs site surveys to ensure COMSEC material physical security.
Conducts reviews and inspections on Local Elements to ensure policy implementation and compliance.
Serves as COMSEC Responsible Officer/Local Element Custodian as required.
Prepares and ships cryptographic equipment (up to 50 pounds) in accordance with NSA and CNSS Instruction(s) and local policy.
Serves as COMSEC and CLASSIFIED courier as required.
Compiles and distributes COMSEC Incident information to appropriate authorities as required.
Reads and interprets network drawings and documentation to identify cryptographic requirements.
Provides incident response using multiple software applications, including Remedy.
Maintains familiarity with assigned End Cryptographic Units (ECU) and troubleshoots to remedy problems.
Fills and updates COMSEC keys in end cryptographic units as required.
Performs Field Tamper Recovery (FTR), cryptographic device firm/software upgrades, and ensures the interoperability of firmware versions between ECUs.
Uses GEM-ONE, VINES and Chimera High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) management platforms to monitor enterprise ECU health.
Plans and executes of Out-Of-Band-Key Transfer (OOBKT) to rekey enterprise ECUs.
Executes Over The Network Keying (OTNK) of remote ECUs.
Operates approved key fill devices including, but not limited to, KIK-11 and AN/CYZ-10.
Configures and manages General Dynamics Sectera vIPer secure phone access and use program.
Performs Over-The-Air-Transfer (OTAT) of key material to remote sites using the General Dynamics Sectera vIPer as required.
Travels CONUS/OCONUS, not to exceed 30 days per year, to meet mission requirements.
