Overview
We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst for a prominent client located in Frisco, TX.
Details
Pay: $36/hr based on experience
12+ month contract – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget
This is an onsite role
Responsibilities
Support activities related to sourcing events; handle large amounts of data in market data, spend data, and material/services specifications
Work cross-functionally to ensure data is accurate and useful in support of indirect procurement category work
Provide support to the procurement category manager by:
Managing category data collection from internal spend systems and external suppliers
Normalizing and summarizing data to derive insights
Identify and action cost-reduction opportunities by analyzing spend data, material specifications, market benchmarking, and should-cost analyses
Develop and execute RFXs by identifying new suppliers, maintaining the supplier list, and preparing pricing workbooks and other sourcing requirements
Build post-event analysis by pulling data from Ariba Sourcing, including pricing, RFX questionnaire scoring, and award scenario assessment
Build and maintain spend dashboards and reports
Manage the RFX timeline to meet business needs
Facilitate NDAs ahead of sourcing events
Coordinate with suppliers ahead of and during sourcing events
Assist in resolving invoice and supplier delivery issues
Participate in company committees for process improvement or cross-functional interaction
Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements
Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or business-related field, or related experience
Digital aptitude with experience in systems such as Ariba, Snowflake, Beeline, SAP, IBM Cognos, Celonis, and Tableau/Power BI
Proficient in MS Excel
