Agronomy Location Manager - Wallace

Job Requirements:
$70,000 - $100,000 Depending on Experience
The role of Agronomy Operations Location Manager is to oversee all agronomy operations for the Wallace facility which includes all operational oversight, maintaining maximum customer service and management of staff. As the Location Manager, you will work directly with growers and organization personnel. This person also needs to excel at communication and quick problem solving. The successful candidate will communicate with other managers, employees, and customers. The Location Manager will have to effectively communicate any needs or opportunities that present themselves along with being able to quickly work through an ever-changing schedule.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities
Manage a full-service Agronomy operation, including dry and liquid fertilizer, seed, seed treatment, crop protection products and custom application.
Work with Agronomy Operations Manager to create and manage agronomy location operating budget.
Maintain ongoing communication with CEO, COO, Location Managers, and Sales Manager to monitor competitive products and marketing activities.
Communicate with the Agronomy manager on any needs or opportunities that present themselves.
Monitor the work of all employees to correct deficient performance and effectively reward and develop all employees.
Promote and ensure a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or other Agriculture degree program.
5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience
5+ years of agronomy operations, or agronomy sales experience
Supervisory experience
Familiar with Agvance
