About the Role

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supervising inventory staff. This role ensures efficient inventory control processes, minimizes discrepancies, and supports overall supply chain operations.
What You Will Do

Supervise daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods
Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal availability and prevent shortages or overstocking
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accuracy
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
Train, schedule, and oversee inventory or warehouse staff
Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory needs
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Generate reports on inventory levels, shortages, and usage trends
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and inventory accuracy
Who You Are

High school diploma required
2–5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations
Prior supervisory or leadership experience
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Effective communication and team leadership abilities
Experience in inventory control, auditing, data analysis, and reporting
Strong time management skills with the ability to drive process improvements
Comfortable working in warehouse, distribution, or retail environments, including physical tasks and flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, overtime)
