Position Summary
The Gatehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily gatehouse operations to ensure the safety, security, and welcoming experience of guests, residents, visitors, and team members at Enchantment Resort. This role provides frontline leadership to Gatehouse Attendants, ensuring established access control procedures, security standards, and guest service expectations are consistently met while fostering a professional, calm, and hospitable arrival experience.
How You Will Enjoy Your Day
Lead and support Gatehouse Attendants to deliver a secure, courteous, and efficient entry experience
Balance security protocols with club-level member and guest service in a luxury environment
Act as a visible, confident point of contact for members, residents, vendors, and club departments
Operations & Guest Experience
Supervise daily gatehouse operations, ensuring proper verification of residents, members, registered guests, vendors, and visitors
Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while enforcing access control and resort policies
Respond calmly and decisively to visitor, member and resident concerns, access disputes, and unusual situations
Coordinate with Golf Services, Restaurant, and Club Operations to support seamless arrivals and departures
Monitor traffic flow and ensure safe ingress and egress at all entry points
Train, coach, and schedule Gatehouse Attendants to ensure proper coverage and consistent performance
Ensure team compliance with standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and communication expectations
Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and daily logs as required
Manage gate access systems and controls
Provide feedback and assist with performance management and disciplinary documentation when necessary
Safety & Security
Enforce property security policies, emergency procedures, and access control standards
Identify and elevate security or safety concerns to the Club Leadership
Respond to emergencies, coordinate with management and emergency services as appropriate, and document incidents thoroughly
Maintain awareness of club activity, special events, and resident/guest movements

High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience in security, access control, hospitality, or supervisory roles preferred
Strong guest service orientation with the ability to balance hospitality and enforcement
Excellent communication skills; calm, professional demeanor in high-stress situations
Ability to write clear incident reports and maintain accurate logs
CPR / First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
Valid driver’s license; ability to operate resort vehicles or golf carts as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Extended periods of standing and walking
Lifting/carrying up to 25–50 pounds as required
Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to monitor vehicles, guests, and surroundings
