About Us
We are a specialized P&C insurance and structural warranty agency serving residential homebuilders nationwide, focused exclusively on the complexities of builder risk and structural warranty programs.

The Commercial Insurance Client Service Specialist supports Account Executives (AE) / Account Managers (AM) by executing high-quality service tasks, documentation, and client communications within a structured operating playbook. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who values precision, consistency, and follow-through in a builder-focused environment.

Core Purpose
Provide accurate, timely service support that enables AE / AM to deliver expert guidance to homebuilder and trade contractor clients. Ensure SLAs are met, documentation is complete, and daily service needs are handled professionally.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Service & Support

Respond to client and carrier inquiries regarding policies, documents, endorsements, and certificates within defined SLAs.

Process routine service requests (e.g., COIs, additional insureds, loss payees, basic coverage questions) under the direction of the AE / AM.

Assist with scheduling client calls, follow-ups, and distributing meeting recaps.

Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and policy changes per agency procedures.

Maintain complete, accurate records in the Agency Management System (AMS).

Assist with new and renewal policy delivery, verifying accuracy prior to release.

3. Certificates, Evidence of Insurance & Lender Requirements

Prepare, issue, and update Certificates of Insurance (COIs), additional insured endorsements, and evidence of property coverage within specified timelines.

Track and fulfill lender and other third-party insurance documentation requirements.

Monitor open requests to ensure timely completion and communication.

4. Structural Warranty & Builder Program Support

Assist with warranty registrations, documentation, and program tracking.

Coordinate routine communications among builders, warranty administrators, and internal team members.

5. Operational Excellence & Compliance

Follow the agency’s Training Resource and operating procedures for all servicing tasks, documentation standards, and compliance workflows.

Use task queues and AMS to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Support continuous process improvement within the servicing playbook.

Work closely with AEs / AMs to prioritize daily workload and elevate issues that require advisory-level attention.

Assist with renewal preparation, ACORD forms, and supplemental applications.

Contribute feedback on process improvements and help refine playbook steps based on real-world servicing experience.

Performance Metrics
Success in this role is measured by:

SLA compliance and turnaround times.

Accuracy and completeness of AMS documentation and policy servicing tasks.

Internal team satisfaction and client responsiveness.

Adherence to procedures and consistency of reliable client experience.

Required Qualifications

1–3 years of commercial insurance agency or carrier service experience (construction or P&C preferred).

Working knowledge of General Liability, Property, Auto, Umbrella, and Workers Compensation.

Experience with ACORD forms and AMS platforms (e.g., Momentum NowCerts or similar preferred).

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting accounts in construction, homebuilding, or related industries.

Familiarity with structural warranty programs or builder-focused programs.

Industry coursework or designations in progress (e.g., CISR).

What Makes This Role Different
Unlike generalist CSR roles that support a wide range of unrelated industries, this role offers deep specialization in residential construction insurance and structural warranty programs, and expertise that builds long-term market value. Construction-focused experience is highly transferable across carriers, brokers, MGAs, and advisory firms.

Combined with our structured Training Resource and operating playbook, you won’t simply service accounts, you’ll develop recognized mastery in a defined niche and contribute to elevating best practices within it.
