As a Project Manager III, you are responsible for the management of multiple construction projects. You’ll work closely with the customer to complete ground up projects of varying size and scope. You’ll direct Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents and craft personnel to promote and ensure safe work practice and conditions. The salary range is $122,000.00 – $150,000.00.

Responsibilities:
Manages all facets of project construction ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget execution
Lead project teams by providing direction, coordination, and leadership across field and office functions
Oversee day-to-day project management activities throughout the full project lifecycle
Coordinate and attend project planning, pre-design, and design meetings with internal teams and clients
Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules; track progress and drive adherence to key milestones
Review and recommend approval of submittals, RFIs, and change orders; monitor procurement, material deliveries, and schedule adherence
Inspect the site, review and/or coordinate design reviews for the various disciplines, review for code compliance and adherence to the contract requirements
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including contract documents, drawings, specifications, and change management logs
Prepare correspondence for the Contracting Officer’s signature, maintain complete records of contract documents, project related documents, plans and specifications, samples.
Track project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and KPIs; proactively identify and mitigate risks
Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and forecasts
Review ongoing field work to ensure quality, safety, and constructability standards are met
Coordinate closely with clients, engineering partners, and internal operations to ensure successful project delivery
Support execution planning for complex work scopes including access, environmental constraints, and constructability challenges
Education, Skills, Experience Needed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience required
PMP (Preferred)
5+ years of progressive construction management experience in the Overhead Utility Transmission field
Experience supporting or managing drilling & foundations, matting/access, and/or civil access scopes for transmission projects preferred
Familiarity with EPC and/or E&C delivery models, including coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction phases preferred
Experience working with utility clients (e.g., Avangrid, National Grid, Eversource) and understanding of their standards, processes, and expectations preferred
Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook). Experience with experience with Primavera (P6) or similar scheduling tools preferred. Proficient typing skills, 50 + WPM
Strong understanding of project controls, including scheduling, RFIs, submittals, cost tracking, and change management
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work effectively with clients, field teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate risks, issues, and solutions
OSHA Safety training preferred
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
