Position Overview
Laguna’s Roofing is seeking a Roofing Field Inspector (Quality Control) to oversee final project inspections and ensure every job meets our quality standards before completion. This role acts as the final checkpoint between production and project closeout, ensuring workmanship meets expectations and customers are satisfied with the completed project.
You will coordinate with homeowners after projects are completed, conduct inspections, address concerns, complete warranty documentation when needed, and ensure projects are properly closed out. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple homeowner appointments each day.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct final quality inspections for completed roofing and exterior projects
Review project scope, workmanship, and overall installation quality
Complete Certificates of Completion (COC) and any required warranty documentation
Address homeowner concerns and document any items requiring follow-up
Contact homeowners to schedule final inspection appointments
Explain the post-installation break-in period so materials such as shingles, siding, and adhesives can properly settle
Professionally address homeowner questions or concerns and elevate major issues when necessary
Manage daily inspection routes efficiently with a target of 7–8 inspections per day depending on workload
Confirm upcoming appointments with homeowners the day before via call or text
Maintain accurate documentation in AccuLynx including notes, photos, and inspection results
Collect final payments when applicable and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted to the office
Scan and upload documentation into the job file before turning it in
What We’re Looking For
Experience in roofing, construction, exterior remodeling, or field inspections preferred
Strong understanding of roofing systems and exterior construction practices
Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple appointments and stay organized
Comfortable working with CRM systems such as AccuLynx or similar platforms
Ability to read and understand work orders, contracts, and invoices
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Professional appearance and strong attention to detail
