Warehouse Lending Specialist

Overview
The Warehouse Lending Specialist is a client‑facing position with internal duties responsible for timely, respectful, and professional correspondence with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Correspond with clients in a timely, respectful, and professional manner and meet daily SLA demands.

Adhere to various funding requirements per industry product codes and document types.

Process loan settlements to balance to the general ledger daily.

Receive, process, and ship collateral to the final takeout investor, ensuring it meets all investor requirements.

Verify borrowers' signatures are original, ship daily collateral release requests, and complete the daily mail drop.

Track missing collateral and manage the Promissory Note report.

Complete MERS assignments in the MERS database when applicable.

Maintain current investor endorsement verbiage and communicate with management and client shipping teams regarding investor changes.

Assist in processing daily settlements as needed.

Cross‑train with other departments to provide support when team members are out.

Complete all required regulatory compliance training assigned by the Bank.

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Experience with or quick ability to learn the bank’s Warehouse system of record.

Familiarity with loan documentation or ability to be trained quickly.

Prior mortgage warehouse lending experience preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions
Generally works in an office environment or from a remote home office.

Physical Requirements

Remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.

Occasionally move around inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

Use computer and/or other office equipment such as a copy machine or printer continually.

Frequent communication with peers and clients via phone, Teams chat, email, or in person.

Compensation Disclosure
The range for this role is $25.00 - $30.00. Actual compensation will consider experience, skills, training, and other internal factors and may vary by location for remote positions.
