Receptionist/Patient Accounts Representative
The Receptionist/Patient Accounts Representative (Receptionist/PAR) functions as an intermediary between staff, patients, peers, and visitors. The Receptionist/PAR is responsible for maintaining the organization of the medical office by performing various administrative and clerical tasks essential to the provision of efficient and effective care. The Receptionist/PAR is also responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Experience counting money accurately, required
Experience as a receptionist, patient account representative or similar role, preferred
Qualifications:
Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
Dependable, punctual, and highly detail-oriented
Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Accurate documentation skills
Ability to follow established workflows consistently
Work Schedule:
(Rotating schedule each week.)
First Week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 8:00AM 8:00PM and Sunday, 1:00PM 8:00PM
Second Week: Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM 8:00PM
