Are you ready to optimize strategies and drive fleet performance? SIXT is seeking a Regional Fleet Strategist to take charge of analyzing, monitoring, and managing fleet operations across multiple regions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies, ensure optimal vehicle utilization, and streamline processes throughout the fleet lifecycle. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

Maintain and optimize the 78-week fleet model to ensure comprehensive lifecycle planning for all vehicles, from fleet to de‑fleet and provide Purchasing teams with vehicle model/region targets to guide procurement strategies.

Evaluate purchase proposals to ensure alignment with contribution margins and approve fleet placements in collaboration with Revenue Management, optimizing regional distribution and factoring in lifecycle needs such as one-way rentals and transport to sale locations.

Track fleet utilization, Revenue per Day (RPD), residual value trends, and other fleet costs to refine strategies and leverage sales performance metrics to guide inventory adjustments and strategic placements.

Oversee the buyback process, ensuring seamless coordination and accurate execution of vehicle returns and develop and manage defleet strategies, tracking vehicles through all stages of the sale process.

Adjust plans based on sales outcomes to maximize realized values and profitability.

Partner with Revenue Management and other departments to align fleet strategies with business objectives, ensuring data-driven solutions for optimization.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Education: You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience: You have demonstrated expertise in fleet management, inventory control, or sales strategy, ideally within the car rental or travel industry.

Technical Proficiency: You have advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL; familiarity with Python or other programming languages, ability to analyze complex data, draw insights, and make strategic, data-driven decisions.

Soft Skills: You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and have the capacity to manage multiple priorities while aligning objectives with organizational goals.
