Overview
The Learning Facilitation Professional facilitates training courses for organization employees or external audiences. The work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity. You will report to the market president.
Responsibilities
The Learning Facilitation Professional plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of training programs for participants throughout the organization, including instructor‑led and virtual instructor‑led training.
Provide training to both Front Office staff and Medical Assistants
Select appropriate materials
Create an environment that is conducive to learning and exchanging information, engage the learner, and produce the desired outcomes
Monitor training personnel records to ensure employees have met all company training requirements for company, quality, and regulatory compliance
Analyze course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements
Evaluate the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the fields
Understand own work area professional concepts, standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards
Make decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follow direction
Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Medical Assistant experience
Train or learning development experience
You must hold current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through one of the organizations recognized by Conviva/Humana. Acceptable certifying bodies include:
Allied American Health (AAH)
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) – Foreign Medical and Nurses Graduates only
National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP)
National Association of Healthcare Technicians (NAHT)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
Medical Career Assessment (MedCA)
American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience as a lead medical assistant in previous roles
Experience working in value‑based care environments, ideally within organizations focused on managed care or population health
Experience using different training tools to facilitate to a wide audience
Experience managing projects or processes
Work Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00 to 17:00
Location
Onsite in Daytona, FL; must be flexible to travel between the 10-12 clinics in the market.
Compensation
Pay range: $48,900 – $66,200 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
