Job Summary
Floor Technician
– responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment at
Texas Children's Hospital
(Webster, TX). Immediate hiring for a part‑time position. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:30 pm–10:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface applications, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
Prior floor‑care experience required; preferred experience as a floor care technician or related role.
Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required.
Knowledge of and ability to follow safety procedures.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
