Warehouse & Inventory Technician

Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials, while also supporting the service team by looking up parts and setting up PM agreements.
Key Responsibilities

Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator. Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. Picks, packs, and ships materials and products. Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise. Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. Participates in quality improvement efforts. Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Forklift certified. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Firm commitment to excellence and high standards Strong verbal and written communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Proficient on Microsoft Office. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with others Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customer Ability to follow established policies and procedures with a safety-first attitude Broad level of safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures A top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in themselves and in others Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software; SAP experience preferred
