Purchasing Clerk Location Pinckard, AL Pay Rate: $16.00 $20.00 per hour Shift: Monday Thursday | 7:00 AM 4:30 PM + Fridays | 7:00 AM 11:00 AM

1 year of purchasing experience, coupled with a background in administrative roles, customer service, and accounts payable/receivable.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Exceptional decision-making, communication, and time-management skills.
May need to lift 15 lbs.
Responsibilities:
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.
Sort and distribute incoming mail and prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
Audit credit card reports and match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly.
W-9 and 1099 maintenance and respond to all vendor inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies, and assist in month-end closing.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
