A busy, well-established litigation defense firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a high-performing group of attorneys. This is a fast-paced office with a heavy litigation workload and a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured but high-volume settings, can manage multiple priorities, and enjoys being a true right-hand to attorneys.
What Youll Be Doing
Provide full administrative and legal support to up to 5 attorneys
Manage complex calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
Handle state and federal e-filing
Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Coordinate depositions, meetings, and travel as needed
Maintain organized electronic files and case materials
Assist with time entry and billing coordination (centralized support in place)
Communicate with clients, courts, and internal teams
Support docketing and litigation workflows
What Were Looking For
3+ years of legal secretary experience, with strong litigation exposure
Proficiency with e-filing in state and federal courts
Strong typing and document formatting skills (65+ WPM preferred)
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple attorneys and deadlines
Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Professional, adaptable, and able to work with a variety of personalities
Strong communication and proofreading skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Work Environment
Collaborative office with a mix of experienced attorneys and support staff
Fast-paced with a steady flow of work and shared information across teams
No in-office receptionist (virtual support model in place)
