Essential Responsibilities

EDI & Order Processing in Business Central
Processing & Paying Freight Bills
Creating Labels for Outbound Shipments
Customer Service Back-Up
Bookkeeping
And all other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Two years of order entry or shipping experience preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word). Competencies in using programs for label creation and load sheet distribution a plus. Given the nature of the role, strong attention to detail is crucial to avoid errors and discrepancies. Accounts Payable experience a plus.
Skills and Competencies

Strong attention to detail required to minimize errors in processing and documentation, guaranteeing precision in tasks such as creating labels, load sheets, and more. Organizational and time management skills needed to efficiently manage timely and effective completion of responsibilities. Must have strong basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Strong communication skills required as this position will be working with customers, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth order and shipping processes. Will work collaboratively with other departments on a variety of orders and shipping logistics.
Language Ability

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English. Ability to effectively present information and communicate thoughts, ideas, desires and problems to fellow employees, small groups situations, customers, management and other employees of the company on a one-to-one basis. Strong problem-solving skills needed to identify and resolve issues related to orders, billing, or inventory.
Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting at a manufacturing facility. The environment is often dynamic and collaborative, with collaboration being essential. Employees will contribute to overall production goals, with office employees supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing processes. Working hours outside of standard office hours may be required.
Physical Demands

Will sit for long periods of time, operate office equipment, and regularly use keyboard while typing. Walking required to carry out duties. Will be occasional lifting of office supplies, typically not exceeding 20 pounds. No harmful exposure.
