Bilingual Janitor

Job Title: Janitor (Part-Time) Location: Hoffman Estates, IL Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Description

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and amenity spaces
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces
Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and ensure proper disposal
Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces
Monitor building supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting repair needs
Maintain cleanliness of exterior entryways and assist with seasonal duties (e.g., snow/ice removal at entrances as needed)
Follow all safety procedures and building protocols
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good time management and reliability
Ability to lift up to 3050 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Strong communication and professionalism when interacting with residents
Additional Requirements:
Must be dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to work a consistent 32-hour weekly schedule
