Overview
Responsible for entering, tracking, and maintaining proper inventory levels within the Warehouse Management System for multiple divisions.
Responsibilities
GE Plant Inventory Leader responsibilities
PSA Cycle Count Administration
Communication to GE MRP for PSA cycle count coordination
SAP creation of cycle count documents
GE excel file updates for managing PSA cycle count data
Process Vendor to Vendor Receipts
SAP data entry upon GE MRP request management evolving excel file
Follow up communication as required for completion
Create Invoices in Ariba for Vendors
Communication from GE to create invoices in Ariba for Vendors
Creation of Invoices in Ariba for Vendors based on communication from GE employees
Managing approval status request via email from both Vendors and concerned GE employees
Sales Order Creation and Modification
Communication from GE employees to create or modify a Sales Order
Creation or Modification of Sales Orders based on communication from GE employees
Managing approval status request via email from both Vendors and concerned GE employees
GE MDC Ops Leader responsibilities
MDC supply ordering
Cycle counting of supplies
Management of cycle counts on supplies to both Vendors and GE employees to end destination delivery
DMT management
SAP management of DMT data evolving excel file
Communication from GE or CBPS receiving for DMT management
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
80-100% Inventory-related duties
0-20% Continuous Process Improvement, Training, Guiding and Mentoring related duties
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Repetitive motion
Reaching, pushing, pulling carts, pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment
Walking, standing for extended periods of time
Mental qualifications include math skills necessary for maintaining inventory records and understanding process improvement initiatives. Must also be able to verify work orders, invoices, etc.
Follow CBPS safety practices and procedures and contributes to a positive CBPS safety culture.
Must complete trailer safety inspection.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (e.g. SAP MM and WM modules) with two or more years of WMS experience.
Strong background in problem solving in a dynamic team environment.
Must be able to perform duties with little supervision.
Requires knowledge of materials distribution and/or logistics processes, methods, and skills related to inventory management. Superior organizational skills.
Strong data entry skills.
Strong WMS transactional knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
Ability to work in an ever changing, dynamic environment.
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Office, etc.).
Must develop strong product knowledge.
If in an SAP environment, must have experience using SAP within a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Must have Microsoft Office Suite experience.
