OVERVIEW

The Operations Lead is a key member of the store leadership team responsible for driving profitability and operational efficiency. The role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate tasks, and provide feedback, ensuring optimal store operations.
OPERATIONS LEADER

Lead & execute inventory management processes focused on maximizing accuracy and reducing shrink.
Investigate and root‑cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
Manage key operational functions: shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra‑day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
Champion visual standards for the sales floor.
Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
BUSINESS LEADER

Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business‑driving strategies.
Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
Directly oversee Operations Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent.
Use company performance tools to evaluate each associate and provide continuous feedback for growth.
PEOPLE LEADER

Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.

BUSINESS PARTNER

Collaborate with the Visual Lead for cross‑functional training and with the Sales & Service Lead to ensure business execution.
Execute company‑level operations‑focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
OPERATIONS LEAD QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of prior work experience in a client‑centric, sales environment.
Proven leadership capabilities and excellent decision‑making.
Values feedback, receptive to receiving feedback, and eager to provide feedback.
High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
Self‑motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles.
Job Level: Associate.
WORK HOURS & SCHEDULE

The Lead role is full‑time, requiring 32–40 hours per week. Employees are expected to have open availability and work variable shifts, including peak days, weekends, and the company’s blackout period from the week of American Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
