Position Description
CGI is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst that will: (1) provide audit liaison support for U.S. Government agency audits; (2) support Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance activities and deliverables; and (3) interpret and apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues. Works on problems of moderate complexity. Analysis of situations and/or data requires a review of a variety of factors. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will report directly to CGI Federal's Director of Government Compliance.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Works with management to ensure compliance with CAS and FAR and resolve compliance issues
Provides audit liaison support for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Department of State (DOS), and other U.S. Government agency audits
Assists with the preparation of the Company's provisional billing rates (PBR's), forward pricing rates (FPR's) and annual incurred cost proposal (ICP) submissions
Conducts internal timecard floor check audits and completes other compliance deliverables as assigned
Reviews Accounting, Finance, Contracts policies and procedures for compliance with established practices and FAR and CAS regulatory requirements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 2 years of experience working on U.S. Government CAS and FAR cost accounting compliance issues
Direct experience with providing audit liaison support on U.S. Government audits
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Can work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
Desired qualifications
on-essential skills required:
Working knowledge of government contract accounting
Incurred cost submission preparation experience a plus
Familiarity with CostPoint and Cognos Analytics preferred
Flexibility to travel as needed, (less than 10% of the time)
Compensation range
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 - $136,200.00.
