About The Role
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems to test and benchmark AI performance across areas like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and organic chemistry
Develop clear, rigorous, step‑by‑step solutions that demonstrate expert‑level reasoning
Evaluate AI‑generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of reasoning
Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's‑level chemistry topics
Provide structured, constructive feedback that helps AI models improve over time
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently
No prior AI or data annotation experience required
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) work
Background spanning multiple chemistry sub‑disciplines
