The Grill Assistant Manager - Part Time; Willow Grill

$16-16.50 per hour DOE

Job Summary
Assists The Grill Manager with supervisory oversight of the assigned Grill, including reviewing The Grill operations and monthly financial performance. Assists The Grill Manager with facilitating and coordinating the necessary scheduling and allocation of staffing resources, to assure the effective provision of services.
Duties And Responsibilities
Assure quality service is provided to all customers.
Assists with training and managing assigned staff.
Performs responsibilities of a Grill Attendant/Cook including preparing and serving food and beverages.
Conduct daily inspections of the assigned premises for cleanliness, maintenance, repair, safety and compliance with established Department of Health requirements.
Assists with daily, weekly and monthly food, beverage and supply inventories and related paperwork.
Review employee timecards for weekly accuracy in Managers’ absence.
Perform product purchasing for all food, beverage, paper, janitorial and operational supplies in the Grill Managers absence.
Check in all orders received, follow-up on any discrepancies
Monitor food production timeliness, quality and costs.
Immediately report accidents/ incidents to The Grill Manager and The F&B Manager, follow up with required paperwork.
Facilitate and promote a strong customer service orientation among assigned staff.
Participate in mandatory safety training and prioritize safety throughout the workday.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Three years of Food Service experience, with one year of supervisory experience OR
An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/ or training, which demonstrates the ability to effectively perform the duties of the position
Possession of a Maricopa County Food Handler Managers Card
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of Food Service operations.
Knowledge and understanding of Food Service POS (point of sale) system implementation and use
Knowledge of occupational hazards and the necessary safety precautions for the work area and work performed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Work Conditions
Ability to lift up to thirty five (35) pounds safely using proper lifting techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy and demanding environment
Ability to move about freely including; walking, standing (for extended periods of time) bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, carrying
Ability to speak, see, hear
Ability to ascend/descend ladders
