Position Summary
The
GFRP Research Assistant
will support a variety of ongoing research projects that focus on improving dietary quality and promoting healthy and sustainable diets. Responsibilities include:
Conducting literature reviews
Assisting with academic writing and preparation of manuscripts for publication
Supporting grant submissions
Preparing study recruitment materials
Programming surveys
Assisting with development of codebooks and protocols
Preparing IRB submissions
Assisting with data cleaning, analysis, and/or visualization
Developing meeting agendas and note taking during meetings
Drafting presentations, pre-registrations, and analytic plans
Graphic design as needed
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
Experience in nutrition, health behavior, exercise physiology, public health, social work, or related field
Experience working on a research project
Experience with manuscript preparation
Experience supporting grant submissions
Strong writing skills
