Role Description
Looking to expand upon your whiskey knowledge or share a passion for excellent service in an award-winning drinks destination? This is a part-time on-site role for a Tasting Room Associate at Westland Distillery in Seattle, WA. The Tasting Room Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, leading tastings and tours, and assisting with retail sales and inventory management. This is a temporary, seasonal role with prospect for permanent hire upon review. Friday-Sunday availability is required, and the role is estimated 16-24 hours per week.
Qualifications
Food & Beverage Education and Sales skills
MAST Permit required (can obtain upon hire)
Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
Weekend availability required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Comfortable with public speaking and leading tours
Experience in the hospitality or beverage industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field is a plus
