Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care

Communityhealthathome, Tacoma, WA, United States

Job Summary and Responsibilities
Our progressive multi-hospital Critical Care Service is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding team. This unique opportunity offers the chance to deliver high-acuity critical care across five diverse hospital settings, ranging from community hospitals to a tertiary-care medical center with advanced services including Cardiothoracic Surgery and Neurosurgery, and a Level II Trauma Center.

This role involves comprehensive patient management, from assessment and diagnosis to developing and executing treatment plans, performing critical invasive procedures, and ensuring continuity of care.

We offer a dynamic schedule primarily focused on night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with some day shifts, providing a consistent 12‑hour structure. Based regionally, you will have the opportunity to practice at our various locations in Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Federal Way, Lakewood, and Burien.

Beyond direct patient care, this position offers significant professional development and leadership potential. The expansion of our services has led to the creation of the VMFH Critical Care APP Fellowship Program, and the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to mentor and collaborate with fellows, contributing to the growth and education of our next generation of critical care APPs.
