Support high-level space operations as an

Operations Planner, Craftsman (Space Domain Integration)

at Schriever Space Force Base. In this mission-critical role, you'll provide subject matter expertise in Space Domain operations to integrate efforts across the Space Enterprise by incorporating supporting units, joint customers, and contributing mission partners into U.S. Space Force exercises.

Pay:

$145,000 - $160,000

Essential Duties:
Space Domain Integration

Serve as the subject matter expert on space integration projects essential to executing the Joint Event Life Cycle in support of 392 CTS-hosted exercises.

Provide expertise in space domain operations with a system inter-operability focus to advise the team on tactics and doctrine to develop realistic integrated space warfare consequence matrixes.

Liaison to key warfighting entities to gather readiness training objectives and participation requirements.

Exercise Design & Support

Participate in planning conferences, working groups, and training events to shape the execution of 392 CTS-supported exercises.

Represent key space mission areas and organizations within the Exercise Control Group (ECG) and White Cell during events.

Conduct exercise White Cell duties, including but not limited to, real time adjudication of effects/killchains, and execution of the Master Scenario Event List.

Analysis, Reporting & Documentation

Capture and report lessons learned throughout exercise planning and execution phases.

Support hot washes, debriefs, and After-Action Report (AAR) development.

Prepare planning and event documents including meeting minutes, trip reports, and exercise products.

Tool Integration & Resource Planning

Integrate existing and emerging modeling/simulation capabilities into exercises as well as articulating modeling/simulation requirements to develop efforts on behalf of the Service Exercise Team.

Recommend and track personnel, equipment, and funding resources needed to support customer requirements.

Collaborate with training organizations to align academic instruction/orientation with exercise goals.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of space operations experience.

Strong understanding of Orbital Mechanics, DoD orbital systems and capabilities, Satellite Command & Control, RF spectrum fundamentals, and Command Relationships.

Knowledge of Space Domain warfighting capabilities in terms of limitations (constraints and restraints), C2 structures, and end-user mission requirements.

Must be a strong communicator and skilled public speaker with the ability to lead large group discussions during exercise design conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing or executing exercises involving Operational and/or Tactical training audiences.

Experience in guiding teams through high-tempo operations environment to achieve mission success.

Previous support to combatant commands, services, or international partners in space operations.

SPACE FLAG participation or USAF Weapons School graduate status is a plus.

Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of education.

Required Clearance

Top Secret / SCI

Travel

Limited travel required (approximately 4-5 weeks per year).
