The role of Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in food**As a Food Service Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:**Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the food service space as outlined in best practices.Follow all food safety requirementsComplete Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Pizza Hut products (where applicable). a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local All other duties b**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR** You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success. **The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Food Service Expert. But, there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:**Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
grocery experience preferred, but not Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed multiple tasks within established Ability to work in environments that will include refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions; where common allergens may also be handled or present.Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive-Ups, carryout, etc. Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)Target is one of the world’s most recognized brands and one of America’s leading retailers.
