We are seeking an experienced
Production Control Coordinator
to support our Freight and Distribution area. The role requires a day‑shift schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with some overtime opportunities. Good attendance is critical.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process shipping documents, such as packing slips, bills of lading, purchase orders, etc.
Track all shipments.
Input data into the company ERP system, ensuring accuracy at all times.
Coordinate shipments with various shipping carriers, logistics handlers, or other transportation partners.
Accept and document incoming packages and deliveries, routing items to the appropriate areas.
Verify outgoing/incoming items and quantities against documents.
Utilize FedEx and UPS shipping software for ground shipments.
Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other devices.
Secure product in boxes and correctly load and prepare pallets for shipment.
Load and unload trucks.
Assemble production documents as directed.
Scan and file work orders into company systems and storage cabinets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School/GED; advanced education preferred.
Two or more years of experience coordinating freight shipments in a manufacturing or distribution center.
Strong computer skills with careful attention to data accuracy.
Two or more years of forklift and material handling experience.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from knee to chest regularly.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate‑controlled.
