Position Summary
The ERIE21 Youth Program Administrator is responsible for the strategic development, systemic implementation, and high‑level management of services for secondary students across local school districts (primarily Syracuse City schools), with a focus on regional urban and rural partnerships. A primary responsibility of this role is the oversight of Career & Technical Education (CTE) bridge programming, ensuring a seamless and measurable transition from vocational and technical career tracks into additional ERIE21 programs and high‑growth potential pathways. The Administrator will architect and manage a performance‑based participation framework designed to incentivize student consistency and milestone achievement. This individual is responsible for cultivating a leadership and service pipeline, elevating students into roles as program ambassadors and peer facilitators. The Administrator oversees the delivery of age‑appropriate curriculum in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Workforce Futurism, while directing specialized, revenue‑aligned pilot initiatives and project‑based contracts. The Administrator serves on a team that provides holistic student support, ensuring wraparound care—including transportation, case management, food security, and mentorship—while setting student growth benchmarks and tracking utilization data. The role ensures all programming complies with contractual and reporting requirements of Le Moyne College and its regional partners.
This position is funded by external sources and is contingent on the continued receival of those funds.
Program Development & Strategic Oversight
Serve as program lead for the coordination of bridge programming for local school district CTE students, ensuring alignment with ERIE21 educational pathways.
Oversee the design of differentiated, forward‑facing curricula including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation Readiness to prepare students for the future of work.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to launch innovative student pilots, such as the Podcasting Lab, while managing fee‑for‑service contracts to ensure high‑quality programming and long‑term financial stability.
Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to architect and maintain a gamified participation system that uses points and incentives to drive student retention and consistent attendance.
Student Leadership & Wraparound Stewardship
Cultivate a pipeline of student leaders, training them in facilitation and service to act as peer ambassadors within their schools and the ERIE21 ecosystem.
Collaborate with colleagues to serve as a steward of student wraparound care; coordinate and track the availability of transportation, food security, and case management resources to ensure student stability.
Orchestrate a comprehensive college and career mentorship program, connecting students with professional networks and tracking progress against personalized growth goals.
Assessment & Reporting
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the collection and reporting of attendance, engagement, and outcome data (via Microsoft Dynamics 365) to meet contractual requirements for organizational funders and key stakeholders.
Collaborate across ERIE21 teams to ensure a unified student journey from middle school through adult placement, informing curriculum adjustments based on real‑world sector demand.
Administrative Responsibilities
Actively participate in staff development sessions, retreats, and specialized training as required to ensure alignment with evolving organizational goals.
Participate in regular one‑on‑one meetings with the Program Manager (or designated supervisor) to discuss KPIs, program health, and professional performance.
Provide operational and onsite support during team‑wide events, high‑profile initiatives, and community engagement activations as needed.
Assist in the preparation of internal reports and maintain accurate documentation of program expenditures and resource allocation in accordance with department standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, STEAM, or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience in youth development or educational administration, ideally within a tech‑focused or workforce readiness environment, with preferred experience working with middle school and/or high school students.
Preferred experience working with STEAM students and/or professionals.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex data tracking systems and coordinate multi‑faceted social support services (wraparound care).
Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, automation) and their impact on the regional workforce.
Strong ability to serve as a high‑level liaison between school district leadership, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
Demonstrated effective experience and skill in working with students from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
Knowledgeable of various learning styles and study skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with community, academic, and industry partners.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate student needs and programming.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Demonstrated aptitude in STEAM/Technology, preferably computer science, web programming, robotics, engineering, and/or cybersecurity.
Familiarity with local community resources to support students in need.
Familiarity with best practices in recruitment and retention.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Time management and organization skills.
Valid Driver’s License (some travel is required to and from offsite locations; mileage will be reimbursed by the College).
