Job Summary:
A Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist who collaborates with the treatment team to assess patient needs, coordinate interventions, and facilitate individual, family, and group therapies while demonstrating leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Demonstrate leadership in departmental services through a collaborative process that integrates services across the organization.
Assess or coordinate patient healthcare and education needs in partnership with the healthcare team.
Orchestrate patient hospital processes to provide seamless, efficient care.
Allocate human and material resources effectively to meet patient care needs.
Comply with education requirements and safety/injury prevention standards.
Complete psychosocial assessments in coordination with unit therapists.
Facilitate individual, family, and daily group therapy as ordered.

Qualifications
Licensed Therapist credential (LPC, LPC‑Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT) licensed in Texas with a Master’s degree in mental or behavioral health.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days, maintained throughout employment.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
Read and write in English.
Speak and hear for communication with employees and peers.
Remain calm under stress and respond to pages.
Evaluate and interpret information, make independent decisions.
Ability to twist, squat, stoop, bend, lift (minimum 25 lbs), grasp, fine hand coordination, push, pull.
Ability to understand and interpret financial data.
