Join Our Team as a Registered Dietitian
Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing residents’ health and quality of life through individualized nutrition care in a skilled nursing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical nutrition therapy and conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans using MDS/RAI
Ensure compliance with physician orders, therapeutic diets, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with nursing, social services, and food service teams
Supervise dietary staff to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
Participate in state and federal surveys and support corrective action plans
Maintain accurate documentation and dietary records
Educate residents and families on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices
Ensure alternative meals meet nutritional requirements when substitutions are needed
Qualifications
Current, active Registered Dietitian license or RD eligible
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred)
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and food service management
Experience with Sigma Care, PCC and Geri Menu (preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Requirements
Prior SNF
ursing home experience required
Ability to analyze food service costs and manage dietary budgets
Experience with food service operations and cost control
