Job Description
UW Medical Center-Northwest - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has an outstanding opportunity for a Night Shift Registered Nurse.

Work Schedule

36 hours per week

3x12 shift schedule

Night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am)

Must be available to work weekend shifts

About Our ICU

We are a general medical ICU offering cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and post-surgical monitoring

We offer 15 individual rooms for patients

We consistently hold 1:2 nurse to patient ratios

Our RNs work in close partnership with our intensivists, physicians, and certified nursing assistants

Position Highlights

Provide life-saving care to patients

Join a close-knit ICU that values camaraderie and collaboration

Primary Job Responsibilities

Work alongside physicians, intensivists, social workers, and care managers

Follow evidence-based nursing practices

Provide bedside care for critically ill patients, including those admitted for septic shock, post-cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, and strokes

Monitor and administer medications and IVs

Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect

Requirements

1 year of recent ICU nursing experience, or equivalent nursing experience on a high acuity critical care unit

BLS

ACLS

Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum
$45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum
$83.64 hourly

Other Compensation

BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour

Certification premium - $1.25/hour

Night premium - $5.00/hour

Weekend premium (Fridays and Saturdays) - $4.00/hour

Sunday night premium - $3.00/hour
