Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician II performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. Unlock your potential here!

Responsibilities

You will perform non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets.

You will prepare unit dose drug.

You will be delivering medications to patient care areas.

You will check medication storage areas for outdates.

You will need to complete billing duties.

You may work in IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, medication reconciliation.

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Technician certificate, or Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.

If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued a Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.

High school diploma.
