Occupational Therapy Assistant – PRN
Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, IA is a post‑acute care facility offering long‑term, short‑term, and geriatric outpatient services. We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in‑house therapy team.

Duties

Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under Occupational Therapist supervision.

Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.

Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.

Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.
